The API of the search module is not very good. For a search you have to access the search table directly instead of doing an API call.
It should be like: At least one of two modules is needed.
@cmfcmf Have you seen the system of Wordpress it is imho fantastic.
I do not use this functions.
Imho this a very important issue.
But how are phpBB and the other forums are solving this problem? Maybe there is a hybrid way.
I will check that as soon as find the time. A correct view of all unreaded posts would be nice but I agree that a db table with the read...
The refresh is also not working.
I fixed the ajax calls. A good error handling would be nice for the future.
