Oh never mind, I understand now. They are not samples, they are frames. So it would be dropping the audio of 10 frames which already looks like a lot.

Just for the sake of documenting the issue, Sega Rally 2's "Game Over" jingle is also cut off on libretro with Threaded Rendering enabled.
