Could we not scale down all the information from the main map and load the information on the minimap?

You must build an Signal Fire before Free Tarder can trade with you.

The Free Trader works. But you dont have set that you want buy or sell something. Thats an screenshots with setup of of buying something. 
The code say yes: https://github.com/unknown-horizons/unknown-horizons/blob/master/content/scenarios/tutorial_en.yaml#L187 It should come after Signalfire in the Tutorial
Its not hard it takes some time. You could set buy tools to maximum.
Yeah that's an knowed bug. It will be fixed in the next version oh uh. Ignore the message for now.
