@HansOlsson but it's weird to fiddle around with "unitCurrent" and "unitVoltage" and leave it up to the tool to determine the unit of "1". I've already proposed an easy-to-read fix....

@giomarpap could you post GenOpt.log respectively the error message? Which version of OpenModelica are you using?
I think @casella is right but it could be tedious to define nominal values for all reference signals manually. As far as I know all tools should determine some sort...
