@mikejholly @programble @dajare I've forked gist.io to [draft.sx](https://github.com/x3ro/draft.sx) and have already implemented support for current public and private gist urls (as far as I've tested). I'd welcome other contributors :smile:
@derekmc Idan has not been very responsive as far as contributions to gist.io are concerned. Check out [draft.sx](http://draft.sx), which is my fork ([repo here](https://github.com/x3ro/draft.sx)).
A workaround would be to install gnu-awk with homebrew (`brew install gawk`). The awk that comes w/ OS X seems to be from 2007 😦
This would be nice :)
