If you're still seeing that console message, then I'd bet that it is autoplay blocking. What happens if you actually wait for a user gesture?
@Roms1383 Yes, doppler effect is definitely meant to affect pitch, not volume. I'm not sure what you mean by playback rate affecting volume and pitch...did you mean speed and pitch?...

That sounds like an underrun to me - can you check how many sounds you're playing at the same time?
Kira only supports mono and stereo sounds for now.
Not currently. I'm not opposed to it, but I don't have a 5.1 system to test with, and I'm not well versed in how games use 5.1 channel audio.
I'd rather cpal handles this better, but I'll see what I can do on Kira's end.

@deavid I tried installing Kubuntu 24.04 to reproduce your issue, and had a different issue instead. The default audio device didn't work, but it was just silent, no `DeviceNotAvailable` error....
