I just effectively ran into this issue too. I'm using the HTTP sink and I'd really like to have access to the output produced from the HTTP request for use...
It would also be amazing to document how the different container runtimes function from a host perspective.
Just ran into this exact same issue today, docs say you can chain but it seems like you cannot.
Would really be nice to get this merged. Odd how this repo seems so neglected.

Why are there so many images and projects for eBPF? I keep looking for documentation but keep coming up empty handed... There are all these different collectors over at https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-network...

I think I'm experiencing this bug in another way. I'm getting the snapshot and events out of order, leading to data loss in the context
I've been having this same problem since updating to MacOS 26 also. I was trying to find the cause but came up empty handed so far.
