Hi, we encountered into the very same issue.
We found a workaround for this, We added fsGroup: 2000 to the values file under the podSecurityContext key.
/remove-lifecycle stale
The issue is still there, it would be nice to include some annotation which we can add to the namespace and in result the operator-webhook won't touch the existing labels...
