Back button does nothing

In certain screens and won't exit app. Also, sometimes menu bar disappears and there is no way to access the sidebar or change view. Android 7.1.1

When scrolling in the settings screen, it is too easy to change the slider bar position by accident.

Some users prefer miles/feet.
