These changes look to be under the container section. There are existing vars to inject resources for these sections per service.
This is similar, in some respect, to https://github.com/blackducksoftware/hub/pull/74. A more flexible configuration model to enable operators to define annotations for external tools or people.

Filed internal issue HUB-32224 to prioritize and track this change request. This pull request should remain open in alignment with HUB-32224 resolution.
From internal discussion, this will not be of use for the suggested purpose since postgres-init is only supposed to run its full behavior once.

This is reasonable and is an improvement from a security and configuration flexibility perspective. Internally filed HUB-32210 to backlog for prioritization.
