Looks like the threshold for the image processing needs to be able to be adjusted. I just installed and took pictures and had similar issues... especially for notes in pencil....
I think these are the paid assets... "Please note, however, that this project uses several paid assets from the Unity Asset Store that cannot be included in this public repository....
