Having the same issue when trying on Linux. Click "Download" and get no output at all, nothing appears to happen.
Remain really hopeful for this via OwnCloud/NextCloud/WebDAV support (#155 and #104). It's currently a pretty critical missing feature (for anyone who doesn't use Dropbox).
Also really keen to see a sync feature! Really liking the Omni Notes app, and this is the only thing that's really holding back its usefulness day-to-day. As another possible...

I currently use Nextcloud to sync notes across desktop and laptop, and really hope to see Nextcloud/WebDAV syncing in the mobile app so that I can use Boostnote on Android!
