Publicity, simplicity for non GApp users. I also don't see any down sides besides the small amount of extra work

hey, just wanted to second this. been moving away from GApps slowly over the last 3 months and this thread is what made me switch over to boostnote. please put it on f-droid if you get a chance, it's really helpful and means i won't have to sideload on copperhead :) thanks!
