Encountered the same problem with `v6.6.0`. Resolved this issue by downgrading to `v6.3.1` temporary.

There are two cache folders desired to be customized: - `AWS_CLI_CACHE_DIR` control `~/.aws/cli/cache` - `AWS_SSO_CACHE_DIR` control `~/.aws/sso/cache`
