Let's rename "short-term plasticity"->"synapse dynamics", and "long-term plasticity"->"synaptic plasticity"! To me plasticity implies perturbing the resting state (moulding). SD by contrast is elastic, and the resting state unchanged. https://twitter.com/NeuralEnsemble/status/1320444811032383488
Calls to circ.edges.afferent_edges even for one target neuron is filling my 32GB of ram almost instantly.  Is this expected behaviour? What is the correct way to get synapse properties...
