I don't think it should take quite that long with only 1,000 items. It's an n² algorithm, so about 1,000,000 operations, but each iteration of the array is pretty fast....

I'm seeing the same issue on my M1 Max computer, but it works okay on my Intel computer, so it might be an M1 issue.
Nice post! I think it would make a little more sense if you explain how it integrates with the AppDelegate before explaining how the AppCoordinator works.
