It should probably be moved as realistically you would have some kind of a sling on you. However, I can see the implementation problem with trying to get those weapons...
Ideally he would add that little line of config himself. We only maintain the compatibility PBOs we do because their authors refuse to and there are maintainers available.

Please don't force push, it is impossible to follow your changes.
That is automatically done with the towing SQF commands. Make sure you use it properly, attach the cable to the towing vehicle first, then to the towed vehicle.
Change it to a proper PR when you think it's ready.
Is there a ticket for loaded backpacks not counting on BI FT yet?
Requires evaluation if it still happens after some other changes (damage assignment to hitpoints).
