I just tested again and I don't have the issue anymore. Still have the issue that I can't scroll the content of the dialogs being opened.

Yes, good idea. I would recommend doing this as a modeless notification that can be dismissed. Can we also check for never version of npm packages?

Yes, it does repro consistently. I think it is related to unwanted dismissal of the "OK to access clipboard" dialog from the browser.
