Sorry but I don't understand UNIX and Terminal-related stuff; when trying to open luxcoreui I get this: 
I have just tested (same estup as noted above) this file again with the new final 2.10.0 release and didn't encounter any crashes in several renders, also not when resizing...
Some remarks: I'm getting render crashes with Cycles too, same unpredictable pattern, so it is possibly a Blender / Apple GPU driver related issue. I'm now always saving before rendering,...
