How would I increase my VRAM without GPU passthrough?????

I tried to add-global qxl-vga.vram_size_mb=128 -global qxl-vga.ram_size_mb=128 \ to basic.sh but I still have 3MB ram which is insufficient. I would like to add more than 2 gigabytes of VRAM...
