fix: sending file from local to remote

This fixes a bug where 0 byte files were being created when sending from local to remote.

Login redirect does not work in versions 2.0.6 though to 2.0.10

After updating to 2.0.6 pages requiring login no longer redirect to the page after successful login. I also tried updating to the latest version 2.0.8 and this issue still exists....
