Tried to recreate this bug. Did not immediately see a difference between a simple Z section whether I had it x,z or rotated the whole section so that it was...
One solution is to just make it so you have to load a saved file. It does not accept the current internal data. You have to save a file and...
No template right now for a section like that so just define the nodes and elements manually. Longitudinal stiffeners are no problem as the underlying theory of the strips is...
@AkchurinDA or @meladly you want to make the commenter a little example of an I or H or plate with a stiffener? I am sure he would appreciate it.
Node numbering Is continuous. But the elements (strips) can connect however you like. So branched sections like an I beam etc. has always been possible.
Tapered members are possible, but we have not developed that for CUFSM at this time. Codes and standards should enable engineering, I believe that profoundly, it sometimes takes a lot!
Interesting, I don't have an initial hypothesis for this behavior, though in the GUI many more variables are being stored at any one time. perhaps the default Eigen solver itself....
Please provide me the .mat file for further testing.
This bug is fixed in the latest committed version. (Not the compiled 5.66 version) version number has not yet been updated...
Hmm. the nodal displacements are the coefficients of the Fourier terms. So for the signature curve they are mostly what people excpect - except for warping (long DOF) which is...
