Add a button to export the current deformed shape to a text file
Every time you want to create a figure that includes the deformed shapes of a section of interest at different lengths, you currently have to use the batch version of CUFSM to extract the nodal displacements. I think it would be helpful to add a button to the “Analysis Post-Processor” GUI window that allows users to export the nodal displacements to a text file, similar to how the signature curve can be exported.
Hmm. the nodal displacements are the coefficients of the Fourier terms. So for the signature curve they are mostly what people excpect - except for warping (long DOF) which is at the end not the middle. For more complex models you really need to be comfortable with the shape functions so have assumed people are in batch mode. Will still consider this, though it might need to be a "report" so a person can interpret the DOF that are provided correctly.
