This requirement should be documented. Cli's readme has examples without the "source" option.
I think this is a duplicate of https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/1943 . However that issue is for mac, looks like the problem is not platform specific.
It is still occurring and is hurting so much. From time to time I accidentally erase whole prompt instead of only the last word. Please give this issue some attention.
