you can edit the files in the config folder `./config/jei/jei-client.ini` you can access the folder by clicking the text `Click here to open JEI config folder` as seen here

you could use tags like #sophisticatedstorage:base_chests/oak and give these tags to the different modded chests if the mod is loaded and then use the tag in the recipe
