All the requrested functionality is already available in the Everything toolbar. It has Dark theme and Rules with regular expressions what to start for which result. Works perfect with Total...
Here it works as it should. What you have is only shown if I click with the right mouse button inside of the search field

Here under Windows 10 x64 I don't see a problem. 
Everything doesn't keep the last search results if you close its GUI. The toolbar uses the Everytnig SDK (DLL) which also doesn't have any cache for results.
Make some rule for your importand entries and you will not miss the context menu.
Look on the docu and the rules under preferences. You can make rules which allows you to enhance the right click menu in the results or automatically start apps depending...
Have one rule which starts your file manager and from this you have all the rest.
You have to unlock the taskbar, change the siize of the Toolbar icon and lock the taskbar gain. Then ist always shown as wanted. ![Screenshot - 15 04 2021 ,...
The real benefit of Everything search tool comes with a full install and so its makes no sense to have a portable Toolbar.
