The titles says it all. Maybe, with access to the marble's rotation, using triplanar or even cube mapping it would be possible to implement a skin system for the marbles.
It would be very usefull and probably easy to implement a AssetsMods directory lookup to allow overriding of game's assets, for safe modding.
Sometimes we don't want (or would be unfeasible) to make a full mesh replacement, just replace the materials and they would be applied for every object that uses them ingame....
[Feature Suggestion] Have the .MDL files located in the .trex folder so mod files can reference it
At the moment, MDL files only appear in the captures folder when we make a capture, so we have to copy somewhere else, while maybe using another version of remix/dxvk...
