i am using endeavourOS with openbox. i tested alacritty, xev, pcmanfm, librewolf and nitrogen. theres little to no difference between these programs, only alacritty for some reason shows the animation...

ive noticed that theres pauses after exclamation and question marks, line breaks also work. but dots dont do anything

yes normally i use bash, but for me this happens with sh as well btw this does not only affect select. same with while, until, for, etc

instead of `picom` put `[[ $XDG_SESSION_TYPE == "x11" ]] && picom` in your autostart file that should prevent picom from launching in wayland
