The same problem is reported here: #2918 I think it has something to do with Windows App SDK 1.1.4 and 1.1.5. Only with these two versions of the Windows App...

I have the same problem with unpackaged apps and SDK v1.1.4. Debugging in Visual Studio 2022 does not work anymore either, then the error code appears: The program "[15828] TestProg.exe"...

With the Windows App SDK 1.2 Preview 1 the problem does not occur and all unpackaged apps work as they should.
