i have the exact same issue on a firetv-cube. interestingly not even after 5 minutes, but rather after 1-2 minutes. I am pretty sure, it has something to do with...

unfortunately ubuntu doesn't seem to have adopted this into jammy/22.04 yet (https://packages.ubuntu.com/source/jammy/cups). I hope they eventually will. In my case for my kyocera-laser-printer it was necessary to set the color...
