Adds information about creating a serial cable and with that unbricking a G-010S-A that no longer boots properly.

On systems not supporting --color=never the check can occasionally cause a broken pipe error. This avoids that error being displayed.

Suppress openssl warning about reading from stdin.

Fixed some more locations where warnings about reading from stdin showed up.
