I just keep a pre 2.0 version of the IDE around for the data folder uploader and ESP exception tool. Unfortunate.
Try exiting the this connector, then in GSPRO click 'reset gspro connect', then 'save and exit'. You should see the while api window disappear and reopen. Then relaunch this connector.

There is always the option to run View and this connector on one computer, and point this connector to the IP address of the machine running GSPRO. Awkward to use...
