Especially when working meshes with symmetry, Contours will overeagerly warn about non-manifold cuts.  Related to issue #1221

PolyStrips: cannot make a closed loop?

In the following images, PolyStrips _should_ make a closed loop, but it does something very different instead.  

Sometimes, Strokes can create crossed quads. For example, in [The Complete Guide to Retopology with RetopoFlow 3](https://youtu.be/9OjS2rU-Jr0?t=1358), we get the following if stroking left-to-right, but not right-to-left.

reproduce: draw two gedges from left->right, split the top one, then zipper the top-right gedge to the bottom gedge  possible: tan_x of gverts and zippered gedge pointing the "wrong"...
