Ah, I just realized that I'm not sure how to convert the np array back to a State object. Do you have any suggestions for a workaround?

Screen redraw on emacsclient off by one?

This behavior was without tmux. With tmux, it just thinks the screen is one line smaller than the full screen, but at least it is consistent throughout. Thanks for responding!
