I have a identical problem - extractor freezing on certain page. Do anybody found solution?

I'm have same error. Parser does not see blocks above 488758, but Bitcoin-qt work with blockchain in this directory perfectly and see all 510620 blocks.

I do not solved the problem. I stopped using the blockparser. :(

As I remember I used the chainstate: https://github.com/mycroft/chainstate This application is more adequate for my tasks.

blockparser Set different bitcoin directory other than ~/.bitcoin

Another solution soft link ln -s "your bitcoin-qt dir" "/home/youname/.bitcoin"

Where to define datadir for on linux?
