I just had this issue on an M1 Mac, running the latest node. I changed to `v14.10.0` and it worked. Maybe you could give that a try.

It's pretty easy to just compile it yourself if you have xcode 11.3 or 11.4 (I'm on 11.3 and works great). Takes about 2 minutes to compile on my mbp....
Could guard against deleting it, renaming it, and have a subtitle at the bottom of the "Default" heading: "This is the default simulator and cannot be changed" I don't know...
For those of you who added an API key _before_ you subscribed to OpenAI, it will return the 429 error as well. It wasn't until I made another API key...
