This would also benefit emulation both on Steam Deck and usual linux desktop, especially for games that don't have 60 fps patches available.
For some reason with me when I enable the v-sync it limits the fps only inside launched games but not 2/3d preview in the editor, but I have only one...

BTW, just discovered it but it seems that this issue goes away if I hide sidebery(using built in sidebery feature, not userchrome)

I have an RTX 3070 (it supports encoding h264 and h265, but not av1), and am willing to test this
it fixed itself after updating the nvidia driver :smiley:
I think that an option in configs would be more usable for someone with slow hardware, so that they don't have to type additional option every time.
