The git tests will fail until the pull request "Added 9N1 support to HardwareSerial.h #238" on the ArduinoCore-API side is approved and merged.
The failed unit test seems to have been caused by a crash on the unit test side. The test engine seems to have crashed before getting to my pull request.
This is required to support pull request #379 ArduinoCore-renesas https://github.com/arduino/ArduinoCore-renesas/pull/379
