Facing the same, I'd also like to add the task bar has has lost all cosmetics. It's still fully functional, but more like a black bar across the screen.

@Hi-Angel for the longest time I couldn't figure out what you meant by disabling systemd, was thinking if it had been disabled I would be seeing a _lot_ more problems....
