Text not pixelated enough on Safari

Because of Safari's extra-chunky antialiasing, the text shows up less pixelated-looking than it should. This might happen with other browsers on Mac too.

Reported on Twitter, repro'd on Chrome on my Nexus 4.

Relatedly, #17 could perhaps then produce either a montage or an animation.

The most common thing that seems to happen pretty often (and seemingly randomly) is the cursor jumping to the end of the current box.
