I also would like to have this feature, i tihnk a special variable should be fine too.
This still happens with some websites. While the OP site does work, e.g. `https://safebooru.org` (and most other sites that use the same old version of that engine) does not.
Maybe this should be put somewhere on the "Giving" page or when donating with paypal? I've never been to the ledger page.
Not sure about whether this makes any difference, but there's [AtomicPtr](https://doc.rust-lang.org/std/sync/atomic/struct.AtomicPtr.html) that can help enforcing atomicity on owned pointer (and they are owned, at least in case of `SfBox`)

Fixed conflects there were there and rebased on master. Tests should pass i think.
Im not sure how geospatial tests work but they fail..
