set the extension of the excel to .xls instead of .xlsx should works.
Unfortunately it's issue by whatsapp web js and if you wanted to use this, you need to update the source. need to update the web cache + use whatsapp web...

Adding pin control to the settings would be extremely helpful. It would help prevent anyone from modifying & copy the add-ons.
