I too have been having issues with `downloadFile` on Android only. I have opened a [separate issue](https://github.com/capacitor-community/http/issues/266) which describes more of my problem.
Was able to get this working in Vue 3 using Options API after seeing some Composition API examples: https://github.com/fawmi/vue-google-maps/discussions/113#discussioncomment-2517078
I have the same issue where I have to treat Android is a different way than iOS for getting the proper token. Weird.
Any update on this? I have to quit the app after connecting to my AirPods every time and relaunch. This seems like it'll resolve it.
