Add your child Controllers directly in DAPagesContainer in ViewDidLoad. self.viewControllers = @[vc1, vc2]; [self addChildViewController:vc1]; [self addChildViewController:vc2]; and dynamic UIViewControllers works. (then you don't need DAViewController anymore)
