I wanted to update this issue, I've switched to XFCE and it no longer occurs, so the problem seems to be GNOME Shell specific.
I don't mean the app colorscheme, I mean the editor colorscheme, which is separate and currently there isn't a Catppuccin one.
I have the same issue with both my Microsoft 365 account and my school EWS account
I'm running into the same issue, cloning a repo takes an incredibly long time, and there are no errors in the logs. I'm running KDE on ArchLinux, if that helps.
Interestingly, I'm also encountering this bug, but only on my desktop. My laptop the GNOME Software and Snap Store apps show up just fine.
Just commenting to mention that I still have this issue in GNOME Shell, even on a high-end laptop with an nVidia graphics chip.
One solution I found was that it still looks good with Dash To Panel. I don't have any experience with making GNOME Shell themes, but I might give fixing this...
Option 1 is probably the best user experience out of the first two.
That's the border outline on the window, How experienced are you with editing GNOME themes? You just need to change the border outline color to not be partially transparent.
