Apologies for this not being made clear (I'll update the readme tonight) but Titanium has a bug (see https://appcelerator.lighthouseapp.com/projects/25719/tickets/425-null-values-return-as-typecast-values-rather-than-null) that is causing serious issues involving NULL values in the db....

Hey, @tommai78101. I haven't had sufficient time/energy/attention span to look into this further yet. Of the 20+ extensions I use, cVim is the only one suffering the issue right now....

Running into this issue on trying to upgrade our Rails 3.0.x app to 3.2 as well. Will update if I find workaround.
