Just ran into this issue myself. Very anooying. Don't think I'm gonna compile it right now, maybe later. Would be nice to have a fix in the distribution.

I have this use case now. I will try the work-around given but I think I may run into permissions issues. Seems like it would be a pretty useful feature...
@emadkhan what binary did you install? The [releases page](https://github.com/thekashifmalik/kbackup/releases) has links to both `linux` and `darwin` (MacOS) builds. I just updated the README with MacOS specific instructions too.

@emadkhan was there any output on the subsequent runs? If not, something is failing. Will have to test MacOS -> Linux running in push mode.
