wouldn't this issue be resolved after #127 was merged?
i have encountered the same exact problem, however, whehn i tried the regedit fix, the path ended abruptly at AppCompat and the only thing efter that was a folder thingy...
I will attempt to _very slowly_ work on this issue. Probably will start with a non-templated version first and then we'll see how it goes :)
