Found a `well hidden` workaround to solve this (partially). Press Shift+M to show the Menu-Bar at the very top (if not already visible) There you go to Playlist > Player...
Don't see what you (@swift502) mean with `download all the images`. What I meant was just to show them bigger... they can stay where they are. Something simple like this...
