Slow cache?

I agree. The caching is very much slower than loading the images directly. Is this problem going to be resolved or do we need to find another image caching solution?

I have made that change and it has no effect. I still get Call to undefined function get() I am using Windows 10 and running on Laragon. Laravel 5.4.

I agree. This has been the most frustrating "component" since its outset. It would be quicker to write one's own - which I am now going to do.
